While you’ve seen him pop up recently in films like Melancholia and Martha Marcy May Marlene, Funny Games star Brady Corbet‘s most accomplished performance yet is just around the corner with Simon Killer. Directed by Afterschool‘s Antonio Campos, we raved about the film during last year’s Sundance and following a trailer,  IFC Films have released some new photos. But before we get to that, the star has booked his next role, on what looks to be his biggest project yet.

According to Deadline, Corbet will be joining Benicio Del Toro and Josh Hutcherson in the Pablo Escobar drama Paradise Lost. Written and directed by Andrea Di Stefano, one doesn’t need to guess who will play the infamous drug kingpin, but for Corbet, he’ll be taking on the role as Hutcherson’s brother. With a tinge of romance, we’ll follow Nick (Hutcherson) in Colombia, as he “meets the love of his life, only to see things go awry when he meets her uncle Pablo.” Production kicks off this month and one can see the new stills from Corbet’s latest film above and below.

Simon Killer lands on April 5th in theaters on the following week on demand.
