I may be the only person in the world who thought Jon Favreau‘s Iron Man was boring and fairly mediocre. I appreciated what it went for, but it all felt fairly standard compared to the likes of other, better comic book films (and ok, maybe I was a tad too hyped on The Dark Knight at the time.) That said, with my excitement level at a ‘meh’ for Iron Man 2, I’m fairly interested in his adaptation of Platinum Studios Cowboys & Aliens. Daniel Craig alone would have been worth going for, but then Olivia Wilde was announced for the picture.

And now, after days of rumors, Favreau has confirmed none other than Harrison Ford will join the picture, thanks to suspicion from Latino Review. Confirmed via his Twitter page, Favreau had this to say:

“Please stop asking if Harrison Ford is in Cowboys & Aliens. Okay? He is. Please don’t tell anybody.”

We can raise that excitement level from ‘interested’ to ‘how much longer until June 24, 2011’ now. The question now is will we see James Bond and Indiana Jones square off, or dare I say it, even team-up?!

What do you think? Good move for Favreau or should Ford be in jail for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Tell us below.
