The release of a 3-minute trailer for his upcoming Superman blockbuster Man of Steel wasn’t enough for Zack Snyder tonight, he went ahead and debuted the first poster for his upcoming 300 spin-off, 300: Rise of an Empire. While he only produced this August effort, it marked his first tweet in about seven months and one can see the fairly standard results below for the film directed by Noam Murro, as well as the first look at Eva Green above.

We’ve also got our first poster for Robert Schwentke‘s comic book adaptation of R.I.P.D. Featuring Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds, the film finds our duo in the afterlife continuing a life of police work. Marking a major gamble for Universal Pictures, this is one of the summer’s biggest bets, so let’s hope it connects with the reported Ghostbusters-esque vibe some early reports say it is attempting to go for. Check it out below ahead of the trailer this week.

Moving to a different kind of summer film (an actually anticipated one), we’ve got new character one-sheets for Bong Joon-ho‘s Snowpiercer. While The Weinstein Company haven’t set a release date yet in the U.S., these character posters reveal a summer bow is at least in the cards internationally. Unfortunately, a rumored Cannes premiere is not in the cards, as Twitch reports that the film will not be done in time.

Featuring Chris Evans, John Hurt, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, Ed Harris, Ewen Bremner, Octavia Spencer, Kang-ho Song and Ko Asung, one can see them below (via Movies.com) for the film taking place entirely on a train in a post-apocalyptic future.

Which cast member are you most looking forward to seeing in Snowpiercer?
