Already announced as the opening film of Venice, Toronto has also selected Mira Nair‘s The Reluctant Fundamentalist and now we’ve got some new stills from the drama. Headed by Four Lions star Riz Ahmed, the first look at Kate Hudson and Kiefer Sutherland have been revealed for the film that also stars Liev Schreiber and Nelsan Ellis. The film, an adaptation Mohsin Hamid‘s novel, follows “a young Pakistani man (Riz Ahmed) whose pursuit of corporate success on Wall Street leads him on a strange path back to the world he had left behind.”
Following yesterday’s reveal of new stills from Robert Redford‘s upcoming thriller The Company You Keep, we’ve also got another pair, one featuring Susan Sarandon and the other of Redford. With a cast also including Shia LaBeouf, Terrence Howard, Julie Christie, Sam Elliott, Brendan Gleeson, Richard Jenkins, Anna Kendrick, Stanley Tucci, Chris Cooper and Nick Nolte, the film follows “a young journalist (LaBeouf) who stumbles upon the story of his career when he uncovers the identity of a wanted ex-radical activist (Redford) who has been underground for five decades.” Check out the new images below.
TIFF kicks off on September 6th and ends on September 16th.
