Last week we shared set photos from Joel and Ethan Coens‘ highly-anticipated “screwball comedy” set in the world of folk music, Inside Llewyn Davis. Now more pieces are being revealed, as we get our first look at two of the stars near The Hotel Edison in NYC. It is no official still and not even snapped during a scene, but for a Coens film, it’ll do.
Just Jared has the photos of Carey Mulligan looking more or less like her usual self (with some added jet-black hair), but it is Justin Timberlake and his glorious beard that is the big reveal here. Just look at that thing! This is shaping up to be a much bigger transformation than what he went through for The Social Network. We’ve still got to wait and see what co-stars Oscar Isaac, John Goodman and Garrett Hedlund are sporting, but for now check out more photos below and the rest at the source.
Set in 1960s Greenwich village, expect Inside Llewyn Davis to hit theaters by the end of the year if we cross our fingers hard enough. I don’t know if I could go two straight years without a Coen brothers film.
Update: We’ve also got the first look at star Oscar Isaac via Zimbio. Check it out below.
What do you think of this first look?
