As the 66th Cannes Film Festival line-up approaches, one project that’s all but confirmed to play in some capacity is Sofia Coppola‘s The Bling Ring and thankfully audiences won’t have to wait long to see it. Set for a June release, we recently got an eclectic teaser for the film that’s based on true events, and sees Emma Watson lead our titular group of teenage criminals, backed by Taissa Farmiga, Israel Broussard, Katie Chang, Claire Pfister, and Georgia Rock.
A24, coming off Harmony Korine‘s Spring Breakers, have now released some new stills from the film based on the the Vanity Fair story The Suspects Wore Louboutins, which features our star with a gun, contemplating theft, partying, headed to court and more. One can also see more of the nefarious group who, in real-life instances, stole thousands to millions of dollars worth of belongings from celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson and Lindsay Lohan, a few of which appear in the film.
