Dave Franco, the younger brother of James, has been slowly making his way in the entertainment world with parts on both TV shows (the 9th season of Scrubs people like to pretend didn’t happen) and in movies (most recently August’s Fright Night). And now he’s got another role on his plate: Deadline reports that Franco has joined the cast of Now You See Me, a heist film from director Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk). He joins an already strong cast, with Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Morgan Freeman, and Woody Harrelson being among the others signed on.

While the idea of another heist film may cause you to involuntarily roll your eyes, Now You See Me promises to add an interesting spin to it, as the robbers in question also double as magicians and perform these heists during their act. Franco will be playing one of the magicians/robbers, who call themselves the Four Horsemen. Any chance Ric Flair will show up to lead them? Also, any chance I’m not the only one who laughed at that last comment? That’s an interesting concept with the potential to lead to a fun movie, if pulled off right; with a cast like that already lined up, I’ve got some hope it’ll end up being something worth watching.

If you can’t wait for Now You See Me to get your Dave Franco fix, you can also catch him in the 21 Jump Street adaptation starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in March. He’s also currently shooting Jonathan Levine‘s Warm Bodies for Summit, the same studio backing Now You See Me, and which co-stars Nicholas Hoult and John Malkovich. Looks like he’s going to be everywhere soon, but I hope he eventually breaks out of the cocky dimwit role he’s been typecast in; I want to see if this sibling can really act. But, considering that he just looks arrogant, that might be hard. He has the look of an ’80s teen movie villain placed in the wrong decade.

Any interest in Now You See Me? Does the addition of Franco shift it in either direction?
