Rising in the ranks the last few years, Michael Fassbender has achieved the sort of weight to get projects moving forward based on his attachment alone. While he’s sought after for what seems to be every major tentpole, thankfully he’s using some of his powers for good, giving light to international independent projects. He’ll be seen in the recommended Sundance music drama Frank this summer and last fall he became attached to the U.K. production Trespass Against Us.

We’ve now got a few new additions to the film, which is coming from commercial and music video helmer Adam Smith. While joining the The Picture Show, rising actor Killian Scott (Love/Hate, ’71) revealed that he has a part in the project, as well as his Calvary co-star Brendan Gleeson. The trio are set to play a family of Irish Travellers in Alastair Siddons’ script , which specifically follows Fassbender as an outlaw named Chad Cutler who is looking to escape his life of crime.

There’s no additional details on the story, but with an original score from The Chemical Brothers, Scott also revealed that production will begin in the next few months.

Are you looking forward to the project?
