Despite his last few duds, we’re still interested to see what Andrew Niccol takes on and his next project has one of his more compelling loglines. Recently revealed to be titled Good Kill, his Gattaca star Ethan Hawke will lead the drama as a fighter pilot who becomes a drone pilot based in Las Vegas. The internal conflict comes in when he lives a normal life in the suburbs with his family and then goes to work, killing the Taliban for a day job. Deadline now reports that Mad Men‘s January Jones will play his wife, while Zoe Kravitz (Divergent) and Jake Abel (The Host) join as his fight crew, with Bruce Greenwood taking the role of his officer. With the film already kicking off shooting, expect a 2015 release.

In other casting news, not many details are known on the project, but Daniel Craig has signed on for a drama titled The Whole Truth, according to Variety. Scripted by Nicholas Kazan (Enough), Daily Mail reports that Courtney Hunt (Frozen River) will direct, but no word yet whether or not Craig will film this before his next Bond film.

Variety also reports that Craig’s Jacket co-star Adrien Brody has been set to lead a crime thriller titled Manhattan Nocturne. Directed by Brian DeCubellis, Yvonne Strahovski, Campbell Scott, and Jennifer Beals also star in the story of a journalist husband (Brody) who gets a case to solve the murder. Production begins this July.

Lastly, a press release informs us that Cillian Murphy and Bryce Dallas Howard have joined The Free World. Marking the directorial debut of Jason Lew (Restless), the story follows the Inception star as a man who gets out of prison after 20 years for crimes he didn’t commit. He then meets Howard’s character, a mysterious woman who has a violent past. Production kicks off this fall, presumably after Howard finishes her stint on Jurassic World.

Which of the above projects are you most looking forward to?
