With the 71st Golden Globe Awards kicking off next month, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the Hollywood Foreign Press unveiled their nominations early this morning. In the top dramatic category, nods went to 12 Years A Slave, Captain Phillips, Gravity, Philomena and in a bit of a surprise, Ron Howard‘s Rush. In the ever-perplexing comedy/musical category, the hilarious Inside Llewyn Davis, Her and Nebraska, along with American Hustle and The Wolf Of Wall Street, all got recognized. In terms of snubs, if such a thing exists, the HFPA didn’t go for The Butler, which seems tailor made for them, not awarding the Lee Daniels film in drama or a Best Supporting Actress for Oprah Winfrey. The rest seemed to shake out how one might expect and ahead of the ceremony next month, check out the list below.
