After providing a hilarious dose of surreal comedy at last year’s Sundance Film Festival, Quentin Dupieux, Eric Wareheim and Steve Little are set to do so again. While Dupieux and Little teamed for the absurdist project Wrong (which we recently saw a trailer for), Wareheim brought us Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie, but for 2013 they’ve all teamed up for another project, one that is getting an intriguing premiere.
Shot in chapters, Dupieux will show just the first three sections (totaling 45 minutes) of his latest project, Wrong Cops, at Park City this weekend. After revealing the first chapter last spring, we’ve now got a trailer that incorporates the next two, as we follow a bored cop (Mark Burnham) who sells drugs and harasses a teenager (Marilyn Manson) to pass the time. Dupieux seems to be up to the same, welcome tricks with this one and you can check out the look below.
Sundance Film Festival begins today and Wrong Cops (parts 1-3) will screen on January 20th.
