One of the films I regret missing at Toronto this fall was the next project from Todd Solondz. The Life During Wartime and Happiness director brought his dark comedy Dark Horse to the fest, with a cast including Jordan Gelber, Justin Bartha, Selma Blair, Christopher Walken and Aasif Mandvi. After an early clip, the new international trailer has been unveiled via Bleeding Cool. The film looks flat-out funnier than some of his previous efforts. I always like his darker side, but this seems almost like a strict comedy. I’m surprised this one hasn’t been picked up yet, cause I can’t wait to see it. Check out the new trailer below, complete with some Polish subtitles.

Update: Removed at the request of the studio.

Synopsis:

A thirtysomething guy with arrested development (Justin Bartha) falls for a thirtysomething girl with arrested development (Selma Blair), but moving out of his junior high school bedroom proves too much and tragedy ensues.

Dark Horse still has no US distribution.
