After showing her other (primal) side in this fall’s underrated The Counselor, Cameron Diaz is out to get revenge once more, but this time, it’s in the studio comedy arena. The Other Woman, directed by Nick Cassavetes, finds the actress dating Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, only to find out he’s married. She then links up with his wife (Leslie Mann) and his other mistress (Kate Upton) to take him down. Compared to most romantic comedies we get nowadays, it actually looks to be fairly entertaining. Heading into theaters this April, check out the first look below for the film also starring Taylor Kinney and Nicki Minaj.
After discovering her boyfriend is married, a woman (Cameron Diaz) tries to get her ruined life back on track. But when she accidentally meets the wife he’s been cheating on (Leslie Mann), she realizes they have much in common, and her sworn enemy becomes her greatest friend. When yet another affair is discovered (Kate Upton), all three women team up to plot mutual revenge on their cheating, lying, three-timing SOB.
The Other Woman opens on April 25th, 2014.
