Released in 2010, Hot Tub Time Machine both defied expectations in the arena of dumb, fun comedy as well as box office, grossing over $60 million worldwide. While it wasn’t the break-out comedy hit that The Hangover or Bridesmaids would be a year later, it looks like it was enough to warrant a sequel, and nearly five years later, one will be arriving.

Amidst the Oscar bait this Christmas, Hot Tub Time Machine 2 will be touching down in theaters, with director Steve Pink returning, along with Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, and Chevy Chase, but not John Cusack. Joining the fun is Adam Scott and Gillian Jacobs, as the gang heads to the future to save Corddry’s life (or at least genitals) in the present. While they certainly didn’t get the $30+ million budget this time, if you liked the first (as I did), this’ll be up your alley. Check out the trailer below.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 opens on December 25th, 2014.
