You may know him as the police officer from Hot Fuzz or that guy in The Bourne Ultimatum (not Matt Damon), but Paddy Considine has also tried his hand at directing. His first feature Tyrannosaur rocked audiences at Sundance this year and now we have the first trailer. Featuring Eddie Marsan and Peter Mullan, we loved the film at the fest this year (our review here), where we called it “one of the darkest films” at the fest and praised the lead performances, with Olivia Colman also standing out. Check out the trailer below via The Guardian.

Synopsis:

Joseph (Mullen) is a man plagued by violence and rage that is driving him to self-destruction. As Joseph’s life spirals into turmoil, a chance of redemption appears in the form of Hannah (Colman), a Christian charity shop worker. Their relationship develops to reveal that Hannah is hiding a secret of her own which has devastating results on both of their lives.

Tyrannosaur is rumored for a late fall release.
