It wouldn’t be the early months of the year without some bottom-of-the-barrel actioners, and as he does best, McG has returned to deliver what looks to fill that void. Led by Kevin Costner, 3 Days to Kill features the star as Ethan Runner, a Secret Service man who, though on the verge of death, decides to embark on a final mission that, with success, will grant access to a life-saving drug.
Things get strange when he begins to have hallucinations from the drug, as we can see in this first trailer. With a script from Luc Besson and Adi Hasak, hopefully there’s some Taken-esque fun to be had here, but it’s all looking fairly generic from this first footage.
