After the financial success of Ride Along, it wouldn’t be January without another Kevin Hart comedy vehicle. 2015 will team him with The Book of Mormon star Josh Gad in the feature The Wedding Ringer. Ahead of Think Like a Man Too arriving this weekend, the first trailer has now dropped.

Directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Break-Up, forthcoming Police Academy and Baywatch reboots), the premise finds a soon-to-be-married Gad employing the services of Hart, who can be bought as a best man (and bring groomsmen with him). It lo

oks to be the standard January comedy i.e. something I can’t imagine I’ll be watching, but one can check it out below for the film also starring Kaley Cuoco, Olivia Thirlby, Mimi Rogers, Jenifer Lewis, Jorge Garcia, Affion Crockett, Ken Howard, Whitney Cummings, and Cloris Leachman.

Jimmy provides best man services for socially challenged guys, who – for whatever reason – have no one close enough to agree to stand by them on the day of their wedding. Doug, a groom-to-be, has found himself in just such a situation, but, to make matters worse, he fabricates the names of not only a best man but nine groomsmen as well. When all else fails, Doug seeks out Jimmy’s services to carry out a charade designed to make Doug look his best, but threatens to destroy everything if it fails.

The Wedding Ringer opens on January 16th, 2015.
