During the development phase much was thrown about regarding the high school-set elements and humor of The Amazing Spider-Man, but most of the trailers have opted for the more marketable dark tones. With the latest trailer, coming from Australia, we’re finally given a better peek at this side of the film, as Andrew Garfield‘s Peter Parker throws Emma Stone‘s Gwen Stacy out a window, as well as a bit at the end showing off Spider-Man’s strength near the football field. While many other blockbusters can deliver the action demanded from it, I’m hoping Marc Webb can continue his strengths from (500) Days of Summer and nail more of the character aspects. Check out the trailer below for the film also starring Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field.
