If such family fare as Into the Woods and Annie aren’t doing it for you come Christmas, some R-rated fun looks to be had with The InterviewSeth Rogen and Evan Goldberg‘s follow-up to their debut hit This is the End. Following Rogen and James Franco as TV journalists who get entangled in an assassination plot to kill Kim Jong-Un, despite some blowback from North Korea, the release looks to be going along as planned.

Today we have the final trailer which introduces us to Randall Park’s Kim Jong-Un as he bonds with Franco over the sounds of Katy Perry. It’s perhaps our most promising preview yet and early word from recent advanced screenings has thankfully been positive. Check it out below, along with Franco’s character interviewing both Zac Efron and Orlando Bloom on his fabricated TV show.

In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show “Skylark Tonight.” When they discover that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un.

The Interview opens on December 25th.
