While they are both taking part in a number of highly-anticipated projects this year, Clive Owen (in Steven Soderbergh‘s The Knick) and Juliette Binoche (in Clouds of Sils Maria and, on the opposite end of the spectrum, Godzilla), the two have joined forces for another drama, Words and Pictures. Premiering at Toronto International Film Festival last fall, we’ve now got the first trailer today.

Coming from director Fred Schepisi, the film follows the duo at teachers who spark up a rivalry, and subsequently, a romance. While the trailer seems to be all over the map in terms of tones — from light comedy to character drama — the talents front and center will perhaps make this worth a watch. Landing in limited release on May 23rd, check out the trailer below.
