Less than a month after the last full-length trailer, 20th Century Fox are still attempting to distinguish X-Men: Days of Future Past from the rest of the summer blockbuster slate, and doing so, they’ve unleashed the final trailer for the film. While we normally wouldn’t muster up much fuss over yet another X-Men film, this one does feature the return of Bryan Singer at the helm, who gave us the first two (and best) entries in the franchise.

This latest look at footage provides more of our story, including the biggest threat, as well as tease some enticing setpieces. Featuring the returning Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Lucas Till, as well as newcomers Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Booboo Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Adan Canto, Evan Peters and Josh Helman, check it out below. One can also see a 20-minute conversation with the three men pictured above.

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.

X-Men: Days of Future Past lands on May 23rd.
