The Red Riding Trilogy is a series of modern noir films, each helmed by a different director and each taking place in a different year. They follow a “a serial killer who terrorized northwest England in the 1970s and ’80s.” The first is directed by Julian Jarrold (Brideshead Revisited), second by James Marsh (Man on Wire) and the final film by Anand Tucker (Shopgirl and Leap Year, released today).
