During recent press interviews at the premiere of Jonah Hex, Megan Fox informed reporters about her next dream film project, to portray a Native American lesbian superhero. “I don’t want people to protest this, but I would like to be (Sarah) Rainmaker in Gen 13 if they ever made that into a movie.” Read the full story

Jonah Hex is the worst kind of bad movie. For one, it’s not something you can laugh at it. It also had a vast amount of potential. Everything on paper should have made it gangbusters: Josh Brolin as Jonah Hex, Michael Fassbender present and of course having solid source material to take cue from. Instead of reaching its fullest grand potential, it’s a ponderous train wreck. It’s like 80 minutes of watching someone throw gold off a cliff. Yes, it’s that bad.

With Jonah Hex coming out this week, we’ve decided to look at seven of the best comic book-to-film adaptations. Hex, starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox, tells the story of a scarred bounty hunter out for revenge. After being left for dead, Hex has a connection to the “other side.” Fox plays a “hooker with a heart of gold,” and a quick gun hand.
From all the footage we’ve seen so far, this film looks promising and hopefully it will turn out to be an entertaining action flick. Without further ado, here are our seven favorite films based on comics:

One can expect a performance about as deep as the above photograph. One can also except it won’t be Whiteley’s fault, but rather screenwriter Ehren Kruger and director Michael Bay’s.
It feels like old news because rumors have been floating around for days. Now it’s confirmed, or almost confirmed, unless something goes terribly wrong in the final stages of contract negotiation.[Deadline Hollywood]
A guess at Whiteley’s capacity in the next picture: she’s Sam’s (Shia LeBeouf) new girlfriend, who’s about as hot and about as sassy as Fox’s character was. As for Fox’s characters departure, I’m sure they’ll just throw in a line of dialogue suggesting that she dumped Sam or vice versa, much in the vein of the 12-frame shot of Sam bandaging his hand halfway through the last film as a means to explain his character losing a finger.
That didn’t make sense, and this assuredly won’t. Whatever, it’s a Transformers movie.
Are you excited about this news? Really?

The rumor mill surrounding Megan Fox‘s departure from the third Transformers film continues with Fox now claiming she quit the film (contrary to earlier reports that she was fired). The star, who spoke out against director Michael Bay‘s on set behavior last year, is said to have had enough of his abusive actions and left the project of her own choosing. Jeff Sneider of The Wrap speculates that the relationship between Paramount’s chairman Brad Grey and Deadline blogger Nikki Finke may have had something to do with the way the story broke (which was heavily in Paramount’s favor). It turns out that director Michael Bay must have taken Megan Fox‘s comments about his directorial style to heart because Deadline is reporting that the studio has decided against including the starlet in the next Transformers film. Last year the actress hit out against Bay by comparing the filmmaker to Hitler which only exacerbated the tense working relationship between the two.
Paramount, according to Deadline, has decided to introduce a new love interest for Shia Lebeouf and insist that it was ultimately Bay’s decision to replace the actress.
There is no word on who will be joining the cast for the third film. Principal photography begins this fall.
Do you think Megan Fox deserved to be fired? Who would you like to see replace her in Transformers 3?
