The fifth installment of the never-ending and inappropriately titled Final Destination series now has a director tied to it. Variety [via FirstShowing] is reporting that Steven Quale will direct the film for Warner Brothers and New Line Cinema. Quale has done extensive work with James Cameron over the years and is considered to be his protege. Read the full story

Director of the recent hit Avatar, James Cameron, gave a presentation at the Seoul Digital Forum on Thursday. During his presentation, Cameron touched on the future of 3-D technology and how important of a role it will play in film, television, gaming, and consumer electronics in the coming years.
