The trailer for one of my most anticipated films of the year has arrived. Half Nelson and Sugar director/writers Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck‘s next film, It’s Kind of a Funny Story stars Zach Galifianakis, Keir Gilchrist, Viola Davis, Zoe Kravitz, Jeremy Davies, Emma Roberts and Lauren Graham. For all those reading with their fingers crossed for a promising fall season to counter what looks to be an underwhelming summer season coming up, here’s some hope. The Playlist Nation comes bearing gifts, as Sofia Coppola‘s much-anticipated, Stephen Dorff-led Somewhere gets a December 22nd release date while Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden‘s (Half Nelson, Sugar) next film, It’s Kind of a Funny Story, will come to a theater (kind of) near you on September 24th, pushed up from an initial November release date. Story stars Zach Galifianankis, Emma Roberts and Lauren Graham and will concern “A clinically depressed teenager (who) gets a new start after he checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward.” [IMDB]
