The latest film to fall under the reboot axe is Daredevil, Deadline Hollywood reports. The 2003 superhero film, starring Ben Affleck, made over double it’s budget, taking in almost $180 million. Writing the reboot script is David Scarpa (The Day The Earth Stood Still) and producing is Peter Chernin, who is spearheading the new Planet of the Apes film. The reason for the reboot? “Hollywood studios with Marvel superheroes need to keep reinventing these Marvel movie franchises or the rights revert back to Disney-based Marvel.” Read the full story
