Megan Fox Rumored To Play ‘Red Sonja’

Red Sonja is a character from the Conan universe as well as a classic Arnold Schwarzenegger gem from his early days of acting like a barbarian. However, unlike the more brutal Conan films, Red Sonja embraced a certain element of  humor and fantasy that seems to have disappeared from some of the lackluster fantasy lore seen in more recent films of this nature. That is primed to change with a Robert Rodriguez remake of Red Sonja in the works after his already announced Conan remakes. To make things more interesting, there are rumors swirling about a hotly contested battle between Rose McGowan, who looks to be dropping out, and now Megan Fox, who producers want to bring on board as the role of the titular character. ‘Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune’ Screenwriters Hired

uncharted_2_01

Last June we reported that a film adaptation of the popular PS3 videogame Uncharted is being made with Hitman screenwriter Kyle Ward attached. Latino Review is reporting that that deal has since fallen through and that Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer, the less-than-stellar team behind Sahara, but they can prove themselves with the upcoming Marcus Nispel remake of Conan.

I just recently finished playing through Uncharted 2 and it by far one of the best videogames I’ve ever played. As many have said before it is what Indy 4 should have been. The story is extremely engaging and the environments are breathtaking. Based on the title of the film adaptation it looks like they are writing the script based off the first Uncharted game, but I hope they include some elements of the new one, as I thought it was a better story.

Are you a fan of Uncharted? Who should play Nathan Drake?
