With Edgar Wright’s final entry into the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, The World’s End, he may be offering up a bookend of sorts. After launching his feature filmmaking career with the zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead, we’ve got word today that the undead may returning to his apocalyptic pub crawl film.

Bleeding Cool, after picking up the additional casting of Sophie Evans, Rose Reynolds and Samantha White (who are joining Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan and Paddy Considine) have highlighted a few tweets indicating the walking dead may be in front of cameras once again for another Wright production.

Another actress, Courtney Cornfield, popped up on Twitter to reveal she is playing some sort of dancing zombie, attending a disco. The cryptic tweets don’t reveal exactly how this factors in to the plot, but we do know the film has flashbacks, so perhaps it will be in that portion. Check out the tweets below for the film that will also see the composing work of Steven Price (Attack the BlockGravity). [Film Music Reporter]

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

The World’s End arrives on October 25th, 2013.
