After working with Werner Herzog, David Lynch, Gary Oldman, Terry Gilliam and many more, the American Express Unstaged concert series has found its next helmer. Steve Buscemi is set to team with Brooklyn’s Vampire Weekend to direct a NYC concert, one that will be live streaming online, according to a press release.
Ahead of the release of their new album, Modern Vampires of the City, (out May 14th), the band will take the stage at the Roseland Ballroom on April 28th, and one can tune in to the official site beginning at 9PM EST to stream it live. The partnership between the band and Buscemi also might explain some of the peculiar events taking place in the past week.
