Despite a certain superhero landing in theaters this weekend, there’s two films featuring another star that has brought in more money than Superman himself. Harry Potter leading lady Emma Watson is featured in both This is the End (a comedy we recommend) and Sofia Coppola‘s The Bling Ring, a film we said was “a generally enjoyable, if slightly vapid, heist movie for the social media zeitgeist” at Cannes.
Following a group of teenage criminals breaking into celebrity homes and stealing items, we’ve now got a new featurette with packs in some new footage and interviews with our cast. Also starring Taissa Farmiga, Israel Broussard, Katie Chang, Claire Pfister and Georgia Rock, the film is based on the the Vanity Fair story The Suspects Wore Louboutins, which chronicles the nefarious group who, in real-life instances, stole thousands to millions of dollars worth of belongings from celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson and Lindsay Lohan. The Bling Ring hits NY/LA theaters this Friday and then wide release on the 21st.
