Unfortunately Michael Haneke doesn’t moderate this one, but it’ll do. After the best actor hopefuls and a round-up of top screenplay contenders, we’ve now get a one-hour roundtable featuring our best actress and best supporting actress contenders this awards season. Featuring Les Miserables‘ Anne Hathaway, The Master‘s Amy Adams, Lincoln‘s Sally Field, The Impossible‘s Naomi Watts, The Deep Blue Sea‘s Rachel Weisz, The Session‘s Helen Hunt and Rust & Bone‘s Marion Cotillard, the group discusses a wide variety of topics regarding their craft.
One can hear Adams discuss how she was on the verge of stepping back from acting, Hathaway opening up about how her mother previously had the same Miserables role, Watts talksing about how she was terrified to work with David Lynch and much, much more. A major delight was seeing Weisz’s inclusion as she certainly deserves some recognition for her performance in The Deep Blue Sea. Check out the entire video below thanks to THR.
