One of the biggest success stories of recent years is Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano‘s international smash hit The Intouchables. Released in its native country of France back in 2011, the drama following a quadriplegic and his unorthodox caretaker has gone on to rack up over $425 million worldwide and now finally hits US shelves today.

We’ve got an exclusive clip from the film to share with you on its Blu-ray release day, featuring Philippe (François Cluzet), as he plays coy when it comes to getting on the phone with a woman who he has been exchanging letters with. Thankfully, Driss (Omar Sy, a name you’ll want to keep on your radar as he recently booked a role in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past) is not shy and plays Cupid in an attempt to get them together. Check it out below, along with more details on the release.

When Driss, an ex-con from the projects, is hired to take care of an eccentric French aristocrat named Philippe, his newfound job quickly becomes an unpredictable adventure. Speeding a Maserati through Paris, seducing women and paragliding over the Alps is just the beginning, as Driss turns the often humorous world of upper-class Parisian society upside-down. As this unlikely duo overcome adversity of every flavor in this true story, they also shatter their preconceptions of love, life and each other. Based on the #1 international best-selling book, “You Changed My Life.”

The Intouchables hits Blu-ray/DVD today. Check out Amazon and the official Facebook page for more details.
