When Tom Cruise first got cast as the lead character in an adaptation of Lee Child‘s popular thriller series Jack Reacher, the internet seemed to be in uproar over his lack of similar physical qualities with novel’s main character. Now, with Christopher McQuarrie‘s film heading into theaters amongst a competitive December slate, Paramount really wants to dissuade this notion as evidence in a new featurette. After comparing the film to both the James Bond and Jason Bourne series, the new reel (complete with additional footage), has Child himself praising the performance of Cruise.
