This morning we’ve got a batch of posters highlighting the release of well-received 2012 festival films, as well as some major May blockbusters. First up, we’ll get to our most-anticipated of the bunch, as new UK quad posters have landed for one Cannes premiere and another fall festival film. Above one can see a bikini-wearing, gun-toting (a common theme for our characters) Ashley Benson in Harmony Korine‘s Spring Breakers, thanks to Total Film. Read our glowing TIFF review of that film here, and then below (via Empire) one can see a new poster for Jeff Nichol‘s Take Shelter follow-up Mud. We were fans of the film at Cannes (review) and as one can see, this film brings together Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon and Sam Shepard.
Spring Breakers hits on March 15th, while Mud slides into theaters on April 26th.
