USA Today (via AICN) has premiered a new photo from James Cameron’s upcoming Avatar (one more month one more month). The photo shows the character of Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldana (Star Trek). You can view the photo below:

I’m really quite excited for Avatar and I also think the CG on the character in this photo is quite impressive. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more in the coming weeks (obviously, we will), and hopefully it’ll be enough for the movie to recoup its massive budget. All I have to say on that matter is: In Cameron I trust.

Update: Avatar will hold its world premiere in Leicester Square, London on December 10 [via Deadline Hollywood]

The Reelz Channel also has an interview with composer James Horner, which talks about his work on the score and confirms a 3 hour run time. Considering Cameron himself has not said the film is finished this, the running time may change. Check out the video below.
