After releasing the year’s best teaser Sony Pictures has just expanded their site for David Fincher‘s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. We get some minimal music (possibly from Trent Reznor‘s new score), along with 18 character photos and bios. For those that haven’t read the novel or seen the Swedish adaptation, I recommend reading up to get a grasp on the many characters in crime drama.

Synopsis:
Harriet Vanger, a scion of one of Sweden’s wealthiest families disappeared over forty years ago. All these years later, her aged uncle (Christopher Plummer) continues to seek the truth. He hires Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig), a crusading journalist recently trapped by a libel conviction, to investigate.
He is aided by the pierced and tattooed computer prodigy Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). Together they tap into a vein of unfathomable iniquity and astonishing corruption.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo hits theaters December 21st, 2011.
