Those waiting to see a double dose of Robert Rodriguez sequels, the fall has now become your haven. Before his Sin City: A Dame to Kill For — which is currently in production with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin and many more — bows on October 4th, we’ve now got news on when we can see his follow-up to the Danny Trejo-led Machete.

Open Road films announced today that Machete Kills will see a wide release on September 13th, where it will open alongside the breakdancing film Battle of the Year and the Aaron Eckhart-led I, Frankenstein. The cast for the actioner includes Lady Gaga, Vanessa Hudgens, Amber Heard, Charlie Sheen, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Vergara, Edward James Olmos, William Sadler, Mark Zaror, Demián Bichir, and even Mel Gibson as the villain. Check out the official synopsis below.
