Dredd is directed by Pete Travis (Vantage Point) with a script by Alex Garland (Sunshine, Never Let Me Go, 28 Days Later) and also stars Olivia Thirlby (The Wackness, Juno). Dredd is shooting in South Africa, in 3D for around $50 million, and will likely see a release in 2011.
