One of the most ambitious films of the Toronto International Film Festival 2013 line-up is Ned Benson‘s romantic drama The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and Her. Composed of two different films, consisting of Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy‘s separate point of views, it follows New York couple trying to understand each other as they cope with personal hardship. Also starring Nina Arianda, Viola Davis, Bill Hader, Ciarán Hinds, Isabelle Huppert, William Hurt and Jess Weixler, the first image has now landed, which can be seen above.

Moving on to the next film featuring Chastain’s Zero Dark Thirty co-star Joel Edgerton (who, coincidentally, was replaced by McAvoy in the film above), we’ve got our first look at Felony. The film was scripted by Edgerton himself and comes from director Matthew Saville, as we follow three detectives who become embroiled in a tense struggle after a tragic accident that leaves a child in critical condition. One is guilty of a crime, one will try to cover it up, and the other attempts to expose it. Check out the image below for the film also starring Jai Courtney, Melissa George and Tom Wilkinson.

TIFF kicks off on September 5th.

Are you looking forward to the above films?
