After dropping a few pre-production teases, M. Night Shyamalan is underway with shooting his sci-fi epic After Earth and as expected, giving us an eye from the set. While the images above and below just give us a hint of the Costa Rican location, we also get a first look at star Will Smith with his son Jaden.
One can see also the Sony F65, which shoots 4K and Shyamalan says he is the first directing utilizing it. Other than that, we get some gorgeous landscapes in the film that follows Jaden Smith 1,000 years into the future, returning to a post-apocalyptic earth to find his father played by….well you, know. After Earth, whose cast also includes Zoë Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo and Isabelle Fuhrman, hits theaters June 7th, 2013.
