‘Evil Dead’ Remake, ‘Burt Wonderstone’ & More Set To Premiere at SXSW 2013

While the majority of Hollywood will be getting on a plane this week to head to a cold Park City for Sundance Film Festival, the next major US film event, one that occurs at a much warmer location, has revealed its initial line-up. South by Southwest Film Festival — taking place each year in Austin, Texas — will kick off in March and today we have the first batch of titles.

The line-up includes WB’s magician comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone with Steve Carell and Jim Carrey, as well as the upcoming remake of Evil Dead and Joe Swanberg’s latest film Drinking Buddies, which stars Olivia Wilde, Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick and more (see the first look below as well). Also including the US premiere of Harmony Korine‘s Spring Breakers, check out the rundown below.

Downloaded (World Premiere)

Drinking Buddies (World Premiere)
