As we await the return of NBC’s Community, its stars are keeping busy with various project (well, except the long-gone Chevy Chase). After a bit role in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World this summer and an upcoming turn in WB’s magician comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, we’ve now got an update on Gillian Jacobs‘ next feature film project. The Hollywood Reporter lets us know the actress is the third addition to the upcoming comedy Walk of Shame.

While her role is being undisclosed, Jacobs will be joining James Marsden and Elizabeth Banks in the film from director Steven Brill (Drillbit Taylor, Mr. Deeds). Banks leads this Hangover-like comedy wherein the actress plays an aspiring Los Angeles TV news anchor whose failed audition leads to a night of partying — something that, itself leads to waking in a stranger’s bed with no money, no car, no memory and a phone message from her agent that tells her she actually won the audition. Considering the seemingly short lifespan of her cult-favorite TV show, it’s nice to see Jacobs expand her roles in projects like these and while the director has us a bit wary, hopefully the cast comes through here.

Are you looking forward to Jacobs’ next role?
