The first photo debut from Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises was Tom Hardy as our main villain Bane, then we got a teaser that showed off Christian Bale as Batman, but the whole time there was no Catwoman to be found. Warner Bros. has now unveiled the first official, hi-res photo of Anne Hathaway as the Selina Kyle character. Check it out above and click for a hi-res version.
In this photo, Hathaway looks more like Batgirl than Catwoman, but this could be before she actually becomes that latter character. I really liked Hardy’s first ominous look, but this one comes off a bit cheesy at first glance and I’m not in love with the costume design. Then again, it is a single photo from an entire movie, so I should just keep my mouth shut until we see it in action. I’ll do that now and you can see the teaser and poster below if you haven’t done so yet.
