WB has not slowed down when it comes to marketing for The Dark Knight Rises promotion. Last week seemed to kick things off as new posters, tv spots, stills, character sheets and banners arrived. Now, the fanboys have found the newest treasure: a secret Catwoman-themed poster. As noted by a crafty fan, one of the last posters had a QR code that, when scanned, lead to the new poster on the official website. Check it out below, along with new banners above and below.

On what the trailers have shown so far, we know that Batman’s going to take a beating, both emotionally and physically, at the hands of his enemies. While the glimpses of Catwoman have shown her as an ambiguous new character in Bruce Wayne’s life, this new poster suggests that she’s not afraid to take him down to get what she wants. Personally, this is my favorite of the graphics thus far. Nolan’s clever marketing campaigns always help ramp up the excitement for whichever film he’s directing and the kisses at the bottom of this graphic are a nice touch given Catwoman’s characterization. Well done, WB, well done.

Scripted by Christopher and Jonathan Nolan, the film stars Christopher Nolan, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, and Josh Stewart.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20th, 2012 in IMAX.

What do you think of the new poster?
