‘Wall Street’ Sequel Pushed To Fall Release

Those of us expecting Oliver Stone‘s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps on April 23 will have to wait. THR is reporting that Fox has bumped its release to September 24.

The long-anticipated sequel to Wall Street is a star-studded affair, featuring the likes of Shia LaBeouf, Charlie Sheen, Michael Douglas, Josh Brolin, Susan Sarandon, Frank Langella, and Oscar darling and new favorite Carey Mulligan.

Perhaps with all those names, Fox could be seeking awards consideration for the flick, as an Oliver Stone production is never far from Oscar conversation. Regardless, the anticipation will need to mount for a few months on this one.

Will this one reprise the original? What prompted this move?
