‘Valentine’s Day’ Pseudo-Sequel, ‘New Years Eve’ Already Written

According to Deadline.com Valentine’s Day writer Katherine Fugate has submitted her first draft for another ensemble cast romantic-comedy that will center around New Years Eve.  The New Line Execs will want to hire the same director Garry Marshall (Runaway Bride, Dear God) for this new film.

The story for this sort-of-sequel is apparently going to follow-up on some of the characters that are in Valentine’s Day.

While this news isn’t even worth my time to be annoyed by, I can just imagine how many holidays are already lined up for this kind of treatment. When I see the trailer for Valentine’s Day all I can see is a movie that is trying too hard to redo the awesomeness that is Love Actually.

Are you ready for a rom-com for each and every public holiday? Are you looking forward to Valentine’s Day?
