The Dwayne Johnson-leading film is scheduled to start production on February 8th so they are in a hurry to recast. Faster is directed by George Tillman Jr. (Notorious, Men of Honor) and also stars Moon Bloodgood (Terminator: Salvation), Billy Bob Thornton (Bad Santa), and Maggie Grace (Taken).
