‘She’s Out of My League’ Red Band Trailer

When the first trailer was released online, She’s Out of My League seemed like your standard cheesy romantic comedy — hitting all of the too familiar notes we expect from this mass produced canned genre. However, Paramount has just released the red band trailer for the film and it is a far different, and much funnier, animal than its PG-13 predecessor.

Watch the trailer below:

She’s Out of My League is the debut feature film for short filmmaker Jim Field Smith and is co-written by Sean Anders and John Morris (Sex Drive). The comedy genre has been dominated by Apatow Productions for the past several years now with many trying to duplicate the formula with very little success. Is this film raunchy and funny enough to hit that target audience without diving too far into the no-man’s land of the apparently endless American Pie series? It’s a fine line to walk in order to achieve that level of success but I think it has a shot.

She’s Out of My League will have a wide release on March 12th.

Do you think red band trailer is a solid improvement on the first trailer?
