Kevin Smith’s ‘Cop Out’ Trailer

The first trailer for Kevin Smith‘s new film Cop Out (formally A Couple of Dicks) starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan has been released. Check out the trailer in HD over at Apple or embedded below.

Considering the massive Smith fan that I am, I was worried about how this film was going to come out. This trailer has put me at ease. After hurdles with the name of the film and the amount of talent that is involved, I am glad to see how it is shaping up. I think it shows tremendous growth for Smith in terms of visual filmmaking. It also looks like this film (though not written by Smith) has that snappy dialogue kick that makes Smith’s films so much fun. After this trailer, Cop Out will definitely be high on my list to check out next year.

Cop Out hits theaters February 26th, 2010.

  • Mark Maurer
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0284490/ The joke quotient looks equally minimal.
  • I think I'm going to wait until a red-band trailer to fully judge, but this doesn't look very good. What is up with the lack of Kevin Smith in the titles as well? I would think they would advertise that.
