Aint It Cool News is reporting that John Hlavin, a writer for the FX series The Shield, will be writing the script for the next Underworld movie. The original director of the previous trilogy, Len Wiseman, will be only producing. The actors involved are unknown as well. Hlavin said that the new story will not be a prequel or a rehash of the previous films. Instead, it will add new elements while still keeping to the core fan base.
Another vampire film to be put under the belt. People will say that this is unnecessary with all the teenage blood sucking films, but it’ll be refreshing to see a vampire movie that has some structure.
